1. No Data Collection
LockLearn does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no backend infrastructure. There is nothing to collect because nothing ever leaves your device.
2. On-Device Storage
All vocabulary words, topics, and app settings are stored exclusively on your device using iOS App Group shared storage. This allows the lock screen widget and the main app to share data locally — no network connection is involved at any point.
Your vocabulary data is never uploaded, backed up to our servers, or shared with any third party. It exists only on your device and is removed if you delete the app.
3. In-App Purchases
LockLearn offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock unlimited vocabulary words. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. LockLearn never sees, handles, or stores your payment information or Apple ID details. Apple's privacy policy governs all purchase transactions.
4. No Account Required
LockLearn does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. There is no registration, no email address, and no profile of any kind.
5. No Analytics or Third-Party Tracking
LockLearn contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting tools, no advertising networks, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what words you add. That is intentional.
6. Children's Privacy
LockLearn does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for use by all ages.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Because we collect no data, any future changes would only ever reflect additions to the app that introduce new functionality — not changes to how existing data is handled.
